Luke and Rapha got married in the winter of 2002. They worked in UK from 2001-2009, spent eight years between other countries such as South Africa and America, but recently returned to the UK.
Of their many activities, they have been advising both singles and couples, and hold seminars on love life on a weekly basis.
Rapha first saw Luke while they both attended a place called the UCKG HelpCentre. They became friends, eventually started dating, and fell for one another. Over two and half years later, they tied the knot.
It has been 14 years and they are still going strong, but it wasn’t always like that. They faced challenging times in their relationship as any couple does, and they will be sharing with the audience what they have learnt from it so far and what works for them.
Although Luke grew up in a financially stable family, his parents argued a lot. Seeing this behaviour caused him to become cold and isolated. He hated it, but this is how he started behaving in his relationships. Around the age of 11, his father thought that pornography would help him become a man. This changed his vision towards women and he became a womaniser.
His greatest achievement is that he has built a successful marriage. Over the years, Luke has developed a passion for helping people and consequently, has been a relationship adviser for more than 14 years now.
In the earlier years, Rapha was a TV presenter for Record TV on “It’s a Woman’s Thing” (Coisas de Mulher). Love Talk is a new challenge for both Luke and herself. She has also worked alongside her husband for years as an adviser on relationship matters at the UCKG HelpCentre. She has been a contributor to Mrs Cristiane’s site/blog with weekly articles in the past and has also written a children’s book, which is in the process of being published.
Rapha loves to read, loves nature and taking walks. Luke loves football and is a Barca and Liverpool fan.
